WHO IS
     TRAVIS?

Discovering his love of DJing by accident, Travis has been in the DJ industry for 10 years. He got his start in the local country nightclub scene, at one point he even said, “I have no interest in doing weddings. Besides, I don't have a clue how to do that.” It wasn’t long before one of the regulars asked him to DJ their wedding and that’s all it took. He was hooked! Eventually, weddings are where he found his niche and a passion for them was born.

Travis is continually educating himself, learning from industry peers and experts. He regularly attends DJ conferences across the country and participates in training workshops. “There’s something exciting about getting to be a part of a wedding. It’s so personal and it’s so much more than just mixing music. Usually they are a once-in-a-lifetime party and it’s an honor to get to be a part of something they will remember forever,” he says.

Night owl or morning person? Night owl for sure, I'm much more creative and productive in the evening and late at night than I am during the day. It’s not unusual to find me up working on projects or watching TV until 4am.

What is my favorite pastime? I grew up playing baseball so for me there’s nothing better than an afternoon at T-Mobile rooting for the Mariners. There’s just something about the atmosphere of being at the ballpark that I can’t explain. It’s wonderful.

Favorite part of a wedding? Besides a killer dance party, I love toasts. It’s fun getting a peek behind the curtain, so to speak, of my couples. So much emotion is baked into these moments that some of the best unexpected things can happen during this part of the celebration.

Typical Dutch Bros order? Large, Iced, Sugar Free, Double Rainbro Rebel Energy Drink with Soft Top.

What kind of music do I enjoy most? I grew up listening to country music and that’s still what I listen to the most. But, I’m constantly looking for new music for the dance floor so you’ll often find me listening to Pop, Hip-Hop, House, and EDM. I’m always looking for songs with an up-tempo feel…it makes mixing fun and keeps the energy levels up.
